London University Teaching Lab
WHW Consulting designed a teaching laboratory for a leading London University's earth sciences department. This AV system features 4K presentation from a lecturer presentation, or Leica microsope. There is also an overhead HD visualiser to zoom in on samples and relay that to all displays.
This lab space formed part of a project of 6 new teaching spaces - all designed by WHW Consulting and including the tender process management.

100 Seat Teaching Space
WHW Consulting Designed and delivered two 100 seater teaching spaces as part of a larger campus refurbishment project. Dual display with repeater displays ensure that every seat gets an equal viewing experience

London University Lecture Spaces
This is a 120 capacity flexible seating lecture space with 6 large format LCD displays, ceiling speaker voice reinforcement and lecture capture for a leading London University.
The challenge on this project was to create a flexible space for teaching within a listed brutalist concrete building, where all mounting surfaces are listed, and ceiling levels were low.
This space formed part of a cluster of 10 new teaching spaces - all AV designed by WHW Consulting and including the tender process management.

Dual Monitor VC Suite
WHW Designed and delivered this dual 86" Crestron Flex Microsoft Teams VC suite - including custom furniture designed to optimise viewing in a V-Shape.

This meeting room features a bring-your-own-device Video Conferencing system from Crestron - complete with table microphone and cable cubby.
Collaborative meeting space
WHW Consulting designed four new collaborative meeting spaces for a leading London University.
These spaces feature a cost-effective BYOD system, where the video conferencing capabilities of a presenter's laptop is enhanced with a better camera, speakers and microphones below the display.
This keeps costs down, and gives a much improved remote collaboration experience.

Central London Bar Venue
WHW Consulting was asked to design a bar and nightclub venue aimed at the student market.
The space features 4K commercial displays which act as digital signage, or for playback of sporting events and music TV.
The audio system features a state-of-the-art QSC DSP based system with real-time audio correction, and monitoring of noise levels for council compliance. A full DJ booth was also designed with monitoring and connectivity for any type of equipment, including video.
Finally, control for the entire system was simplified using Crestron control via an iPad - to enable the bar manager to walk through the space while setting up volume levels and sources is each of the independent zones.
